FAQs
Q: How old does my child need to be to ride in a child carrier?
Your child must be able to hold his/her head up easily while wearing a helmet (usually around 1-year-old).
Q: Does my child need a helmet while riding in a child carrier?
We highly recommend that both you and your child wear a helmet while riding.
Q: Will the Bell child carrier fit my bike?
The Bell child carriers are designed to fit most adult bikes, but will not work on full-suspension style mountain bikes.
Q: Is it okay for my tweener to ride with my younger child?
We strongly recommend that only an adult carry a child in the carrier. The weight can be too much for a young person to hold up and the bike could fall over, possibly causing injury to the child.
Q: Where can I find an owner’s manual for my child carrier?
